Dobbs Ferry, NY - Clippers drop close game with old conference rivals Mercy College

The Clippers traveled down the Hudson River to face off against their old conference rivals Mercy College. 

The first half of the game the Clippers went out on the field and found themselves evenly matched against Mercy College.  With each team having their chances neither could capitalize on their shots and at the end of the half the score remained at zero.

The Clippers started the second half and were on the defensive right away as Mercy attacked.  With a scuffle in front of the Clipper net Mercy found a way to score.  The Clippers fought to get tie the game up but were unable to and dropped to Mercy 1-0.

Freshman Alessandro Persampieri led for the Clippers with 2 shots on goal as Will Camerlingo was able to save 4.

The Clippers will open their CACC play this Saturday at 2:00pm against Goldey-Beacom College.
