Persampieri takes Rookie of the Week for Men’s Soccer

Bronxville, NY - Alessandro Persampieri earned Rookie of the Week from the CACC.

Alessandro Persampieri, a freshman from Tuckahoe, New York, earned the Rookie of the Week from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) for the week ending September 20^th.

Persampieri scored both of the Clippers goals this past week including a score against nationally-ranked Dominican College, cutting the Dominican led to 2-1 in the sixty-seventh minute of the game. Persampieri leads the Clippers in goals scored and in points.

"It is a nice award for Alessandro to receive. It is an award that the whole team can take pride in. We are hoping for more good things from Alessandro this season," states Coach Pennetti.
