Dimitrov's Scoring Ranks Amongst Leaders in NCAA

Bronxville, NY - Senior forward Stefan Dimitrov (Bulgaria) leads the Clippers men's soccer team in scoring and is currently one of the top goal scorers in NCAA Division II Men's Soccer.

Dimitrov has scored 11 times so far this season, which is tied for the second most goals in Division II Men's Soccer. Lee Squires of Lees-McRae College in North Carolina leads the NCAA with 13 goals and Kouame Kreme of Columbia Union College is tied with Dimitrov at 11 goals.

 

 

The senior is ranked 5th in Division II in goals per game with 1.38 goals per game through 8 games. Dimitrov is also ranked 7th in the Nation in points per game, with 11 goals and 1 assist for a 2.88 point per game average.

Dimitrov has scored in 6 out of the 8 games the Clippers have played this season, including 3 multi-goal games. The senior forward poured in a 4 goal performance against Columbia Union College back on September 7th at Holtdorf Soccer Field.

The Clippers will be back in action on Wednesday, October 1st as they host the Purple Knights of the University of Bridgeport in an East Coast Conference battle. The game will kick-off at 3:00 PM.
