Dimitrov Voted to All-Region Team

Rindge, NH - Senior Stefan Dimitrov (Bulgaria) was voted to the 2008 Division II Daktronics All-East Region First Team, as voted upon by the college and university sports information directors from the East Region.

Dimitrov finished the 2008 men's soccer season with a total of 23 goals and 1 assist. Dimitrov led the NCAA Division II in scoring throughout the year and his 23 goals was the highest total to end the regular season. Dimitrov concluded the regular season with 2.76 points per game, which ranks him third best in the nation. The forward also finished with a 1.35 goals per game average, which was the best in the nation. Dimitrov was also named the 2008 East Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Year for his performance this season.
