Central Islip, NY - After a spectacular regular season, senior forward Stefan Dimitrov (Bulgaria) has been named the East Coast Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year, as voted on by the conference coaches this past weekend. Joining Dimitrov in achieving All-Conference honors are freshmen midfielders Daniel Espinoza (New Rochelle, NY) and Richard Heredia (Patchogue, NY), who were named to the second team and third team, respectively.

Dimitrov turned in a brilliant offensive performance this season, as he led the nation for most of the season in scoring. Dimitrov tallied 23 goals and an assist on the year. The 23 goals were the most scored in NCAA Division II during the regular season. The senior finished with a 1.35 goals per game average, which ranks first in the nation and had a 2.76 points per game average, which is third best in the nation.
