Men's Soccer Signs Two Transfers from New Rochelle

Bronxville, NY - The Concordia College men's soccer program has signed two transfers who reside in nearby New Rochelle, NY, as announced by the Athletics Department.  Fabian Contreras, a junior transfer from Iona College and Rafael Espinoza, a junior transfer from Bryant and Statton College officially committed to Concordia College.  Both Contreras and Espinoza come to Concordia College with the experience needed to help improve last year's squad.  Each player has the ability to play in center mid or up top if needed.

"Rafael is a great forward with tons of skill and should set up a few while scoring a bunch himself.  He is big, strong, and fast.  An important mix for a forward who wants to be successful in a conference like the ECC" states Head Coach John Sprague.  "Fabian is transferring from a Division I program and his experience will help in the middle.  He should be able to control the pace of the game and exploit weaknesses in other teams.  We are looking forward to seeing how they mix it up on the field and we have very high expectations for both Rafael and Fabian."
