Dimitrov and Castillo Voted ECC All-Conference

Central Islip, NY - Juniors Stefan Dimitrov (Bulgaria) and Christian Castillo (Washington, DC) were voted to the East Coast Conference Men's Soccer Third Team, as voted by the conference coaches this weekend in New York.

Dimitrov led the Clippers this season with 7 goals and 3 assists. Dimitrov finished the season with a total of 68 shots. The forward was in the top 10 in many statistical categories this season. Dimitrov was 2nd in the ECC in shots (68) and shots per game (4.25), 9th in points (17) and points per game (1.06), 7th in goals (7) and 8th in goals per game (0.44).

Castillo played in all 18 games for Concordia this season, finishing behind Dimitrov with 39 shots this season. Castillo led the Clippers with 6 assists and 2 goals on the year. Castillo was 5th in the East Coast Conference in assists (6) and 7th in the conference in assists per game (0.33).

The Clippers finished the 2007 season with a 5-12-1 overall record and 2-6-1 in the East Coast Conference.
