CICERO, N.Y. – The Concordia College men's golf team concluded the final round of the two-day Le Moyne College Fall Invitational on Saturday. The Clippers ended the tournament 14th out of 19 participating teams.
As a team, Concordia shot a 626 (+50) as they finished two strokes ahead of Saint Anselm and five strokes behind Roberts Wesleyan. Laval University (Canada) won the event with a 570 (-6) while Rollins was second with a 583 (-3) and Le Moyne rounded out the top-three with a 587 (+11).
Senior Chartpetch Bangpetch (Chonburi, Thailand) led the Clippers with a 151 (+7) after he shot a 74 (+2) to place T-32nd out of 106 participants. Junior Kanoon Bunthanawong (Chonburi, Thailand) finished his round with a 76 (+4) as he placed T-68th with a 157 (+13). Senior Mark Kilpatrick (Cheshire, England, United Kingdom) would also card a 76 (+4) in the round as he too placed T-68th with a 157 (+13). Sophomore Tyler Lanza (New Milford, Conn.) would shoot an 84 (+12) in the round to place 90th with a 164 (+20) as junior Evan Hong (Houston, Texas) rounded out the scores for Concordia with an 81 (+9) as he finished T-91st with a 165 (+21).
The Clippers will conclude their fall schedule in Orlando, Fla. as they will participate in the McDonough Cup hosted by Rollins at the Rio Pinar Golf Club beginning on Monday, October 30th.
