Freshman Eutimio Fernandez Meade (Mexico City, Mexico) will provide a boost to the aspirations of the Concordia golf team this year. In 2009-10, Fernandez-Meade was ranked #5 at the completion of the Mexico City Valley Golf Association's (AGVM) regional ranking tour season. He won (71-71 -- 142) the AGVM's final tour event that season at La Hacienda CC and completed the season ranked #17 nationally in Mexico. In the summer of 2010, Eutimio earned a 13th place finish (77-75-75 -- 227) at the national Mexican Interzonals and a fourth place (82-78-78 -- 238) showing in the AA flight at the Champions Tournament of the AGVM. In 2009, Fernandez-Meade finished in fourth place (75-77 -- 152) at the AGVM Junior Tour stop at Mexico City GC and in fourth place (81-77 -- 158) at the AGVM Junior Tour competition at Bosque Real CC.
