The Clippers recorded their first head-to-head win over a Division I opponent in the short history of the program. "We exceeded our expectations for this event and time of year," commented coach Scott Allen. "The students have worked diligently since early January and their efforts have continued to pay off. To improve our team score from day one to day two while playing in back-to-back days of 30 mph winds is a real testament to their on-course toughness and tenacity. We successfully avoided the alligators at Indian Hills and the sharks at Juno Beach. Tomorrow, we're off to the Honda Classic. These are good kids and I cannot heap enough praise or thanks upon them," stated Head Coach Scott Allen.
