Clippers place 4th in Charger Challenge

The Clippers men's golf team competed in the Dominican College Charger Challenge the past two days.  The Clippers finished in 8th after day one.  With the day two scores in, the Clippers rocketed up to 4th place for the tournament. 

Kyle Grandilli and Jeffrey Schaller led the Clippers through the two days.  Each carded an 81 on day one and then improved their scores by three shots to post 78's on day two.  With their combined scores of 159 both Grandilli and Schaller placed in a tie for 14th overall. 

Sam Deitte posted an 85 after day one.  Deitte moved up his score on day two moving up his score by ten shots to card a 75.  With his 160 total tournament score Deitte placed in a tie for 18th.

Lorenz Kolmeder finished just two shots behind Deitte coming in with a 162 for the two day.  Kolmeder posted an 82 after day one and came in with an 80 on the second day.  Kolmeder placed in a tie for 22nd for the tournament. 

The Clippers will head to Middletown, Delaware this coming weekend to play at the Wilmington University Fall Golf Classic.
