Clippers Ranked 9th at End of Fall Season

The Clippers Golf team will head into the winter ranked 9th in the East Region in the final fall season NCAA Regional Poll done by Golfstat.  The Clippers post an average score of 312.11 which is good for 9th in the region and 4th in the CACC behind Wilmington, Post and Goldey-Beacom.  With two tournament wins this season and their average score the Clippers have a season record of 12-2 in the CACC head-to-head and 22-15 in the regional head-to-head standings. 

In the individual head-to-head rankings Sophomore Jeffrey Schaller tops the Clippers ranked 31st overall with an average round score of 77.20.  Schaller has placed in the top ten five different times this fall season including a win at the Concordia College NY Fall Face Off.  All of Schaller's finishes have been in the top twenty in each tournament. 

Ranked 35th is Freshman Kyle Grandilli, who posts an average round score of 77.40.  Grandilli also has five top ten finishes with a win at the Purchase College Invitational (10/6/10).  Grandilli has also placed in the top 20 in each tournament so far. 

Freshman Sam Deitte, is ranked 44th in the region with an average score of 78.44.  Deitte has placed in the top ten three times while placing in the top twenty in every tournament.  Deitte highest place finish was a third place finish at the Nyack College Warriors Tournament on October 2nd and 3rd. 

Rounding out the Clippers attack is Freshman Lorenz Kolmeder and Junior Will Deitte.  Kolmeder posts an average score of 80.20.  Kolmeder has placed in the top twenty four times this fall season with his highest finish of 3rd at the Concordia College NY Fall Face Off.  Deitte averages an 89.13 round score with three top twenty finishes including an 11th place finish at the Concordia College NY Fall Face Off.

The Concordia College NY Golf team will hit the links again in the Spring of 2011.
