After the second day of the CACC Championship the Clippers finished 4th in the field. (322-321 -- 643) and Nyack College (344-312 -- 656)
rounded out the Top Five.
Concordia freshman Lorenz Kolmeder (Bavaria, GER) carded rounds of 83-80 -- 163 to finish in a tie for 21st place. Clipper sophomore Will Deitte (St. Louis, MO) shot 89-95 -- 184 to secure a tie for 44th place.
About the CACCs, Allen commented, "It was an old course with
tight
fairways and relatively small greens. We tried our hardest and
I couldn't ask for more. The students were a little bit
awed by the environment. With expectations comes pressure and I
think they felt that as well. The only antidote is experience
and they're acquiring it. I'm proud of them, as I have been all
season. They're really awesome kids."
The Clippers will return to action at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, April 19 at the Philadelphia University Invitational at the Ace Club in Lafayette Hill, PA.
