CALDWELL, N.J. – The Concordia College men's basketball team concluded their season on Tuesday evening after being upended at Caldwell University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division game, 90-65.
In the first half the Cougars jumped out to a 6-0 lead as the Clippers would trail by double digits at the 16:00 mark, 14-2. Caldwell continued to pull away on the scoreboard and with 6:03 remaining held a 35-15 advantage. From here Concordia closed out the half with a 20-12 run as the Clippers would go into the locker room trailing 47-35.
Concordia would match the Cougars point for point to begin the second half and then cut their deficit to 14 points, 65-51, at the 10:43 mark. Caldwell would score the next five straight points and with 5:13 to go in regulation would hold a 83-58 advantage. The Cougars maintained their lead to close out the game as the Clippers would fall 90-65.
Sophomore Stephen Milhaven (Port Washington, N.Y.) led Concordia with 18 points as he added three rebounds. Redshirt-sophomore Cedrick McFadden (Washington, D.C.) added 11 points and a game-high seven assists while senior Jamie Holder (Milford, N.H.) came off the bench to add 11 points, three rebounds, and three assists.
