PREVIEW: Men’s Basketball Visits Wilmington (DE) for only Regular Season Meeting on Monday
BRONXVILLE, NY – Concordia will travel to face Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent Wilmington (DE) on Monday for their only meeting of the regular season. Tip-off at Pratt Gymnasium in New Castle, DE is set for 7pm following the women's game. The all-time series is tied at 1-1 between the two teams since their first meeting during the 2009-10 season.
CONCORDIA VS. WILMINGTON (DE)
- Concordia won their first meeting 61-59 on Feb. 13, 2010 in New Castle, DE.
- Both games have been decided by only two points as the road team has won in both meetings.
- The last time Concordia and Wilmington (DE) met (Feb. 12, 2011), the Wildcats won 80-78 in Bronxville, NY. The Clippers had four players that finished the game in double figures as Brandon Whitaker (Harlem, NY) recorded 14 points and Norman Pope (Washington, D.C.) had 13 points. Concordia was outrebounded 40-31 in the game.

- Picked to finish 6th in CACC North Division preseason poll, currently 2nd in North Division standings.
- The Clippers previously fell to Philadelphia U., 85-70, on Saturday afternoon. Lavor Morris (Bronx, NY) led the Clippers with a team-high 21 points on 7-of-15 shooting from the field which included five three-point baskets. Whitaker was the only other player finishing in double figures as he added 15 points off the bench.
- Within the CACC, Argelix Gil (Brooklyn, NY) is 1st in points per game (18.8), 3rd in rebounds per game (10.9) and tied for 6th in field goal percentage (53.6%). In Division II he is ranked 7th in rebounds per game according to the Feb. 2nd rankings.
- Concordia scores the most points per game (77.6) and records the second most rebounds per game (40.4) in the CACC.
THE WILMINGTON UNIVERSITY WILDCATS (8-12, 4-7 CACC)
- Picked to finish 5th in CACC South Division preseason poll, currently 5th in South Division standings.
- Wilmington (DE) is 5-4 in games at Pratt Gymnasium this season.
- The Wildcats previously defeated Felician, 67-56, on Saturday afternoon. Corye Payton led Wilmington (DE) with 30 points. Matthew King chipped in with a double-double as he scored 13 points and added 14 rebounds.
- Payton leads the team in points per game (17.6) while Brandon Fox is (11.1) and King (10.2) are the other players to average in double figures. Fox is also the team leader in rebounds per game (5.9).
- The team commits the 18th fewest turnovers in Division II (11.9) and records the 34th most assists (15.4) according to the Feb. 2nd rankings.
