Concordia Men's Basketball Hosts 3rd Annual Summer Camp
Bronxville, NY – The Concordia College men’s basketball team held their third annual summer basketball camp at the Meyer Athletic Center this week. The four-day camp began on Monday, Aug. 5th and ended on Thursday, Aug. 9th and was attended by roughly 60 children from the local area.

2011-12 Concordia College Men's Basketball Season Wrap-up
Bronxville, NY– The 2011-12 basketball season for the men’s team at Concordia was one for the ages. A non-conference schedule filled with Northeast-10 (NE-10) opponents would prepare the team for conference play. By season’s end the Clippers found themselves in the conference tournament, a position they have not been in since the ’07-’08 season.

Gil Voted to All-Met Second Team for Concordia
Bronxville, NY – Concordia College junior Argelix Gil (Brooklyn, NY) has been named to the 2012 All-Met Division II Men’s Basketball Second Team. The announcement was made by the Met Basketball Writers Association after voting was conducted by area head coaches. Gil is an All-Met first time selection and one of six to be named from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).

Concordia Basketball Teams Combine to Set 29 New CACC Records in 2012
Bronxville, NY – The Concordia College basketball teams may be done with their season but it was filled with so many positives which included three 1,000 point scorers and a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) playoff appearance, the first since joining in 2009. Both teams improved from the previous season and along the way they managed to set 29 new records that will be added to the CACC record books.

Concordia’s Season Ends in CACC Quarterfinals as Goldey-Beacom Edges out a 71-67 Win
Wilmington, DE – The Concordia College Clippers men’s basketball team battled Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South Division opponent Goldey-Beacom College in the Quarterfinals of the CACC playoffs on Saturday afternoon. After possessing a nine point lead with seven minutes to play, the Clippers were unable to hold on for the victory as the Lighting came from behind to win 71-67.

Gil Named to the All-CACC Second Team in Men’s Basketball for Concordia
New Haven, CT – The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) has released its 2012 All-CACC Men’s Basketball Teams and individual honors. Concordia’s Argelix Gil (Brooklyn, NY) was named to the All-CACC Second Team for the first time in his career.

Bronxville, NY – The Concordia College Clippers men’s basketball team battled Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division foe Bloomfield College on Tuesday evening. In a game that was a must win for Concordia to make the playoffs, the Clippers surprised last year’s conference tournament champions with a 92-86 OT victory to earn a spot in this year’s CACC tournament.

Wilmington, DE – The Concordia College Clippers men’s basketball team battled Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South Division opponent Goldey-Beacom College Saturday afternoon on the road. The Clippers were unable to erase a 20 point second half deficit as they were defeated by the Lightning, 82-76.

The Concordia College Clippers men’s basketball team took on Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South Division opponent Holy Family University this afternoon. After leading by 21 at the half, the Clippers cruised to an 82-69 victory in the Meyer Athletic Center.

The Concordia College Clippers men’s basketball team were back on the road this evening to take on Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent Post University. After leading at the half, the Clippers only managed to score 18 points in the second half as the Eagles edged Concordia, 56-54.

The Concordia College Clippers men’s basketball team visited Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent Wilmington (DE) this evening. After leading at the half, the Clippers were unable to hold off the Wildcats as they won their fifth conference game of the season, 82-72.

The Concordia College Clippers men’s basketball team visited Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) foe Philadelphia University this afternoon. After trailing by only eight points at the half, the Clippers were unable to get any closer in the second half as the Rams won for the 14th time this season, 85-70.

Norman Pope (Washington, D.C.) paced the Clippers with a career-high in points as he guided the home team to an 85-75 victory over the Devils.

The Concordia College Clippers men’s basketball team hosted Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) rival Dominican College this evening. After losing the past three games against the Chargers, Concordia completed a second half comeback to win 76-73.

The Concordia College Clippers men’s basketball team and the Nyack Warriors took to the court at the Bowman Center this evening for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match. Junior Argelix Gil (Brooklyn, NY) managed to net his 1,000th career point with 2:01 remaining in the first half on the way to a 91-74 victory for the Clippers.

The Griffins used their strong free throw shooting to defeat the Clippers, 86-73, and remain perfect in CACC play.
