Pope named CACC Rookie of the Week

Norman Pope, a freshman guard from Washington, D.C., earned this week's CACC Rookie of the Week honor for the week ending January 23rd, 2011.

Pope dropped an average 13.5 points, 6 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.0 steals per game during the 2-0 week of the Clippers.  The highlight of Pope's week came in a road game this past Saturday at Holy Family University as he collected 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists while shooting 6 for 12 from the field.

Pope's teammate, sophomore Argelix Gil earned himself an honorable mention this week as well as Gil boasted an average of 25.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 4 assists per game during the week.

Pope, Gil and the rest of the Clippers will head to Dominican College on Tuesday, January 25th for an 8:00pm game.
