Pope named CACC Rookie of the Week for Third Time

Norman Pope, a freshman guard from Washington, D.C., earned this week's CACC Rookie of the Week honor for the week ending February 20th, 2011.  This honor marks the third Rookie of the Week for Norman. 

Pope poured an average of 22 points per game in the 1-1 week for the Clippers.  He also averaged 3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2 steals per game.  Pope posted his week high of 25 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists as he went 4-7 from behind the arc in the win at Chestnut Hill. 

Pope's teammate, sophomore Brandon Whitaker earned himself an honorable mention this week as well boasting an average of 28 points and 2 rebounds while shooting 61.3% from the field.
