Colchester, VT - Clippers fall to St. Michael's in close game
The Clippers played St. Michael's College in the DoubleTree Doc Jacobs Classic today. The Clippers and the Purple Knights battled with each other in the first half. Going to back and forth the Purple Knights would take small leads and the Clippers answered back and tied the game up. With a late surge the Clippers went on an 11-2 scoring run to take a nine point lead at the half.
The Clippers started the second half in control of the game. With a surge the Purple Knights fought back and were able to tie the game up. The Clippers struggled with making shots and the Purple Knights took over the game. The Clippers tried to come back but time ran out and the Purple Knights took the game 57-51.
Argelix Gil led the Clippers with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
William Eason posted 10 points and 9 rebounds.
The Clippers will host Felician College in their first CACC contest on December 8th.
