Box score

Bronxville, NY - Gil leads Clippers to another victory

The Concordia College Clippers hosted Holy Family University this afternoon in a CACC match-up.  The Clippers quickly scored and showed that the other night's win was not a fluke.  The Tigers of Holy Family threatened with good shots but the Clippers stayed one step ahead.  The Clippers pushed their lead out to double digits in the first half on more than one occassion but the Tigers just roared back with shots.  The Clipeprs held their lead through the rest of the first half and went into intermission up four, 37-33.

The Clippers picked their game up right where they left off as they entered the second half of the game.  Just a few minutes into the half the Tigers came pushing back and cut the Clippers 10 points lead down to just one in five minutes of play.  Even with the Tigers fighting back the Clippers remained calm and built their lead back up.  The Clippers took control of the rest of the game and never looked back as they added their second win of the season and of the conference with a 84-67 score over the Tigers.

Argelix Gil led the way with 20 points and 11 rebounds, adding another double-double to his freshman resume.  Will Eason was right behind with 14 points and 13 rebounds while Kenny Gaskins added 8 more assists to his resume.
