Clippers end season with win over Devils of USP
The Clippers were forced to travel to the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia after the Meyer Athletic Center was knocked out of heat and power. The Clippers saw the Devils of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia take an 8-2 lead to kick off the game. The Clippers then picked up the pace and turned the game into a back and forth battle. The Clippers eventually took a solid lead with 2:45 left in the half. The Clippers hit shot after shot to move ahead of the Devils and held a nine point lead at the end of the half, 40-31.
The Clippers continued their strong play into the second
half. Though the Devils tried at different points to comeback
into the game the Clippers stayed dominent. The Clippers were
able to control the tempo of the game and hold off the Devils from
making much progress. As they stretched their lead out the
Clippers went out on a run and saw the Devils unable to catch
up. The Clippers defeated the Devils to finish out their
season with a 76-59 victory.
Will Eason boasted 11 points, 13 rebounds, 4 blocks, 5 steals and 3 assists for his game. Argelix Gil led with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Brandon Whitaker put up 11 points while Kenny Gaskins added 10 points and 5 assists.
