Nyack, NY - Clippers sails sliced by Warriors

The Clippers Men's Basketball team picked up their CACC schedule with a face off with the Nyack College Warriors.  The Clippers battled with the Warriors during the first half of the game.  With the Warriors taking leads the Clippers were able to battle back and tie the game up twice by the free throw hand of Argelix Gil.  The Warriors then took the lead and stretched it to 14 points over the Clippers.  With hard work, the Clippers cut that lead back down to 4 points just before the end of the first half. 

The Clippers battled still with the Warriors in the second half but ran out of steam as they headed into foul trouble.  Despite the consistent play of the Clippers the Warriors stretched out their lead and took the game, 90-78.

Brandon Whitaker led the Clippers with 21 points on the night.  Argelix Gil put up a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. 

The Clippers will head down to Goldey-Beacom College on Saturday for a 3:00pm game.
