Orangeburg, NY - Clippers play tough but fall short against the Chargers.
The Concordia College NY Men's Basketball team traveled to face
off against the Dominican College Chargers tonight. The
Clippers started off strong battling with the Chargers as they went
back and forth on the court. The Clippers came out on top and
took their lead into the early double digits. The Chargers
pushed back and tied the game up with less than eight minutes on
the clock. With unfortunate luck the Clippers headed to the
locker room down 39-31.
The Clippers headed onto the court for the second half looking to rebound back into the game and reclaim the lead. The Clippers attempting to push their way into the game found themselves in a dead second half heat to with the Chargers. Despite their efforts the Clippers couldn't get past the Chargers and they fell short, 70-78.
Argelix Gil led the Clippers with 20 points and 7 rebounds.
Lavor Morris fell in right behind with 16 points while Will Eason
put up another double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
The Clippers will next head to Bloomfield College this Saturday for a 3:00pm CACC match-up.
