Bloomfield, NJ - Eason puts up big numbers as Clippers come so close to Deacons.

The Clippers traveled to Bloomfield College today to continue their CACC bouts.  The Bloomfield College Deacons showed their usual right from the start.  The Clippers, who have been proving to everyone that they should not count them out, came on strong and battled it out with the Deacons through the whole game. 

With the first half battle tough, including four ties and eight lead changes, the Clippers found themselves down at the half 26-35.  Despite being down the Clippers were not out.  The second half of the game was a different story for the Clippers.  With Will Eason leading the Clippers on the court offensively and defensively the Clippers outscored the Deacons in the second half 43-37.  Unfortunately that was just short of the total and the Clippers fell in another heartbreaker 72-69. 

Will Eason put up big numbers on the court with 14 points and 19 rebounds.  Argelix Gil was right there with Eason with 14 points of his own and added 9 rebounds. 

The Clippers will face off at Pace University Monday night.
