Bronxville, NY - Morris helps lead Clippers as they just miss with Felician
The Clippers hosted the Felician College Golden Falcons in their CACC opener tonight. With no nerves to show the Clippers scored the first two baskets. The Golden Falcons then stepped up and pushed themselves into the game. Heading up and down the court both teams were pushing themselves hard. The Golden Falcons took their lead over the Clippers and stretched it out. The Clippers tried to cut the deficit but it was too great and they headed to the locker room down 28-48 at the end of the first half.
The second half started with a up and down the court game between the two. The Clippers trying to just chip away at their deficit and climb themselves back into the game. With two straight three pointers from Lavor Morris the Clippers hit their groove. Pushing and clawing their way back into the game the Clippers were able to cut the Golden Falcons twenty point halftime lead down to seven with just 4:36 left on the clock.
