Bronxville, NY - Freshman Argelix Gil named CACC Rookie of the Week
Clippers Freshman Argelix Gil was name CACC Rookie of the Week for the week ending January 10th, 2010. Gil, a forward from Brooklyn, New York, averaged 14.3 points, 10.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game in the three contests this past week for the Clippers.
Argelix knocked down 14 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 assists at Nyack
College. Then just two days later at Goldey-Beacom College he
poured in 19 points and 17 rebounds for the game.
Argelix is currently leading the Clippers in points scored with 197 (14.1 points per game) and is second on the team in rebounds with 117 (8.4 rebounds per game).
