Bronxville, NY - Eason and Gil sweep CACC Weekly Honors

Junior Will Eason and Freshman Argelix Gil earned CACC Player and Rookie of the Week for the week ending February 7th. 

Will Eason, a Springfield, Massachusetts native, earned his first CACC Player of the Week award as he averaged 24 points, 17 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.5 steals per game in the 1-1 week.  Eason shot 48.6% from the field and 75% from the free throw line this week.  Will recorded a career high 27 points alone in the game against Nyack.  Eason also out rebounded the Warriors by himself 21 to 20.  His 21 rebounds puts him tied at the top of the CACC Single Game Record for Rebounds.  Eason leads the CACC and recently placed himself on top of the East Region in rebounding while he holds a place in the top 10 in the country.

Argelix Gil, a Brooklyn, NY native, earned his third CACC Rookie of the Week as he posted two double-doubles this past week.  Gil averaged 16 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game.  He registered 19 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 assists while shooting 8 for 15 form the field in the game against Nyack.
