Waltham, MA - Sophomore Samuel Batista (Carolina, Puerto Rico) scored a game high 26 points, however, the Falcons of Bentley University ran away with a 96-65 victory yesterday in a non-conference game at the Dana Center in Waltham, MA. Batista shot 9 for 19 (47%) from the floor, including 5 for 9 (56%) from 3-point range. Freshman Daniel Olsen (Stafford, CT) recorded a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds, including 7 offensive rebounds. Junior Troy Young (Largo, MD) added 7 points and 6 rebounds, while junior Kenny Gaskins (Bronx, NY) had a game high 7 assists.

The Falcons were led by Jason Westrol and Lew Finnegan, who scored 21 points and 19 points, respectively. Brian Tracey scored 15 points and grabbed a team high 6 rebounds and John Brandt finished with 11 points for the Falcons.

The Clippers suffer their fourth loss in a row and fall to 1-7 overall. Bentley improves to 8-3 on the season.

Concordia will travel to Carolina, Puerto Rico for a Holiday Tournament. The Clippers will face the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez on Wednesday, December 17th and the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras on Friday, December 19th.
