Clippers End Season With 66-62 Loss to Adelphi

Flushing, NY - The Concordia College men's basketball team suffered a 66-62 loss to the Panthers of Adelphi University in the East Coast Conference Men's Basketball Semi-Finals yesterday at Queens College in Flushing, NY.

 

 

Concordia was led by senior Richard Fields (Bronx, NY), who scored a game high 18 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Sophomore Kenny Gaskins III (Bronx, NY) and freshman William Eason (Springfield, MA) each contributed 10 points and 4 rebounds. Junior Dan Cunningham (Kingston, NY) added 8 points and a team high 8 rebounds, while sophomore Torrance McGill (Manhattan, NY) chipped in 8 points and 5 rebounds.

For the Panthers, Mike McDuffie led 4 players in double figures with 12 points, to go along with 10 rebounds. Chris Diasparra finished with 11 points and Sky Khaleel and Richard Byrd each scored 10 points. Pat Luptowski hit three 3-pointers to finish with 9 points. The Panthers advance to the ECC Men's Basketball Finals on Sunday, March 9th at 3:00 PM.

The Clippers conclude the 2007-2008 season with a record of 12-17 overall.
