Fields Earns First Team All-Conference Selection

Central Islip, NY - Senior Richard Fields (Bronx, NY) was selected to the East Coast Conference Men's Basketball First Team All-Conference, as voted on by the men's basketball head coaches.

Fields leads the Clippers in scoring with 523 points so far this season, which averages out to 18.7 points per game. Fields is 4th in the ECC in scoring, 6th in assists (3.5), 4th in steals (1.96) and 4th in minutes played (35.96).

Last season, Fields was selected third team all-conference, while averaging 19.4 points per game. After transferring from Westchester County CC, the senior scored his 1,000 career point in a Concordia College uniform on Senior Night against the Knights of Queens College. Fields accomplished the feat in just two seasons at Concordia College.
