Fields Earns All-Conference Honors
Bronxville, NY - Junior Richard Fields (Bronx, NY) was named to the East Coast Conference Third Team by a vote of head coaches, announced by the East Coast Conference office. Fields led the Clippers with 19.4 points per game, second best average in the East Coast Conference and had amassed 504 total points this season. Fields led the Clippers in scoring in 18 of the 26 games played this season, including 11 of the last 12 games. The forward had a season high 32 points in a 71-68 win at Molloy College on January 13th.
Fields is also second in the conference in free throw percentage, making 146 of 177 (82%) free throws attempted, second in 3-point field goals made (2.54 per game) and sixth in steals (1.85 per game).
Fields finished the season averaging 4.4 rebounds per game and 2.2 assists per game.
