ECC/NE-10 Challenge Game Cancelled
Bronxville, NY - The 2007 East Coast Conference/Northeast 10 Conference Challenge game against Franklin Pierce College scheduled for Thursday, February 22nd has been cancelled. The game will not be rescheduled.
The Clippers will resume action on Saturday, February 24th, as
they host the University of New Haven Chargers at the Meyer
Athletic Center. The Chargers handed the Clippers a 72-62 loss back
on January 25th in West Haven, CT. Junior Richard Fields (Bronx, NY) scored a
game high 27 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Kenny Gaskins III (Bronx, NY)
chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Darryl Greene led
the way for New Haven, scoring 16 points. J.C. Kouame added 14
points and D. J. Sackmann chipped in 13 points. The winner of
Saturday's contest will be the 8th and final team to qualify for
the upcoming East Coast Conference Men's Basketball Tournament. The
action will begin at 3:00 PM.
