Denyssenko and Gallub Garner CACC Weekly Honors

Peter Denyssenko and Joe Gallub earned CACC Weekly Honors for the week ending May 8th.

Denyssenko garnered his first Pitcher of the Week honor. The right handed pitcher pitched a complete game shut out in the 1-0 win over #2 regionally ranked Wilmington University. He allowed only seven hits with no walks while striking out eight batters.

Gallub earns his second Rookie of the Week honor, his first was on March 28th. Gallub hit .444 in the double header sweep of Wilmington. He drove in the game winning run for the Clippers in game one. Gallub drove in a total of three runs on a pair of doubles and scored twice. He went 3 for 5 with two runs and two RBI's in game two.

Denyssenko and Gallub's outfield teammate, Luis Gonzalez earned an honorable mention for the week as he hit .500 in the 2-0 week with one run, two RBI's and a double.
