Bronxville, NY - Baseball announces 2010 Captains

The Concordia College Baseball team recently announced their captains for the 2010 season.  Senior Greg Conway, a senior from Floral Park, New York, was named Captain for the second year in a row.  Last year Conway lead the Clippers in put outs with 196. 

Joining Conway is Senior Tommy Paradise.  Paradise, hailing from Mahopac, NY, is a starting pitcher for the Clippers.  Paradise threw 68 strike outs in the 93.2 innings pitched last season for the Clippers. 

Also joining is Junior Joe Vaskas, a junior from Bethpage, NY.  Vaskas, an outfielder, led the Clippers with his .397 batting average, 50 hits and 13 doubles.

Conway, Paradise and Vaskas will lead the Clippers in their season opener on February 23rd at Adelphi University at 3:00pm.
