The Clippers headed to the University of Massachusetts, Lowell to face off against the Riverhawks.  The Clippers struggled in first couple of innings at the plate.

As Eric Skutch was called to pitch the game for the Clippers, he worked well in the first two innings.  The Riverhawks got two runs in, in the third inning to take the lead.

The Clippers came into the top of the fourth and answered the Riverhawks two runs with two of their own as Donnie Roth hit a two out single through the left side started the inning.  A double to left field by TJ Walsh scored Roth and the Clippers cut the lead in half.  As Billy O'Connell reached first base on an error by the pitcher, Walsh was able to score and tied the game up.

Skutch went another four innings and held off the Riverhawks.  As Skutch was dominating on the mound for the Clippers, the Clippers continued to struggle to get anyone past second base.

The game surpassed the ninth inning and headed into the double digits.  With the tenth, eleventh and twelfth gone and neither team taking the lead the game headed into the thirteenth inning.

Mike Sciacchitano led the inning off with a single to centerfield.  Anthony Carnacchio was walked and the Clippers put another runner into scoring position.  John Pliego hit into a fielder's choice to reach first base and the Clippers were just 90 feet from taking the lead.  With a single to right field by Donnie Roth, Sciacchitano scored and the Clippers took their first lead of the game.

The Riverhawks answered back in the bottom of the inning and sent the game into the fourteenth inning.  The Clippers were unable to score in the top of the fourteenth and the game remained tied.  The Riverhawks got into scoring position and with a walk off single the Riverhawks took the game.
