Cougars Defeat Concordia 5-4
Bronxville, NY - The Concordia College baseball team was defeated by the Cougars of Caldwell College 5-4 yesterday afternoon at Clipper Baseball Field in Bronxville, NY.
Sophomore Joe Vaskas (Bethpage, NY) finished with 2 hit, including a home-run in the 7th inning. Vaskas had 2 RBI on the day. Juniors Donnie Roth (Congers, NY) and Greg Conway (Floral Park, NY) each drove in a run for Concordia.
The Cougars snap the Clippers 6-game winning streak and fall to 10-11-1 overall. Caldwell improves to 4-5 overall.
Concordia will return to Clipper Baseball Field on Tuesday, March 24th, as they host the Chargers of Dominican College in a non-conference game. First pitch is set for 3:30 PM.
