Catch the Clippers Live in Action against Wingate University

Wingate, NC - The Concordia College baseball team will kick off the 2009 season in Wingate, NC this Saturday, February 21st and Sunday, February 22nd against the Bulldogs of Wingate University. You can catch Sunday's action live, as a pay-per-view video stream will be available, courtesy of the Wingate University Athletic Department. In addition, a live internet audio broadcast will be offered, as well as Live-Stats. Click on the link below to access the Wingate University Multimedia page. Sunday's game will commence at 1:00 PM, with the pre-game show slated to begin at 12:45 PM.

Concordia finished the 2008 campaign with a 12-29 overall record and 8-19 in the East Coast Conference. The Clippers will be led by first year head coach Craig Everett, who comes to Concordia after a 7 season stint as the head coach at Queensborough Community College in Bayside, NY. Under Everett's tutelage, the Tigers won the City University of New York (CUNY) Baseball Championship in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2008 as well as the Regular Season Championship in 2007. Everett claimed CUNY Coach of the Year in 2005. In addition, Queensborough was the 2005 Region XV Champions and appeared in the NJCAA Division III World Series.
