Everett to Head Baseball Program
Bronxville, NY - The Concordia College Department of Athletics has announced the hiring of Craig Everett as head baseball coach. Everett comes to Concordia College having spent the previous seven season as the head coach at Queensborough Community College in Bayside, NY. Under Everett's tutelage, the Tigers won the City University of New York (CUNY) Baseball Championship in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2008 as well as the Regular Season Championship in 2007. Everett claimed CUNY Coach of the Year in 2005. In addition, Queensborough was the 2005 Region XV Champions and appeared in the NJCAA Division III World Series.
"We are very pleased to have Mr. Everett join our coaching staff." states Ivan Marquez, Director of Athletics. "With Craig's background and proven achievements, I'm confident that he will lead our young student-athletes to many successful seasons." adds Marquez.
Coach Everett is also the head coach and Vice President of the
Team New York Cardinals, where he works directly with players
ranging from 12 - 18 years old. Coach Everett's Cardinals won the
1998 US Amateur Baseball Federation World Series in San Diego, CA.
Currently, Everett teaches history and science at St. Gerald
Majella School in Hollis, NY.
