Akeen is the son of Zonda and Carrie. He was a letter
winner at Lehman High School. Akeen played football at
Central Connecticut State before coming to Concordia. He
holds the Northeast Conference (NEC) record for longest touchdown
reception. He currently resides in the Bronx.
