Clippers Top Knights 11-7
Flushing, NY - Senior Kevin Hickey (New Fairfield, CT) finished with 3 hits and drove in 4 runs to help lead the Clippers past the Knights of Queens College 11-7 yesterday at Knights Field in Flushing, NY. Hickey hit his team leading 11th home run against the Knights in the game. Senior Samuel Golubov (Cortlandt Manor, NY) had 2 hits and 2 RBI and freshman TJ Walsh (Bronxville, NY) had a hit and scored 2 runs.
Senior Josh Likens (Owensboro, KY) came on in relief and pitched 3 innings, allowing just two hits and striking out 2 batters. Likens improves to 5-3 on the season.
Concordia improves to 17-21 overall and 12-12 in the East Coast Conference. Queens College falls to 5-27 overall and 3-21 in the East Coast Conference.
Concordia will step out of conference action on Friday, May 4th,
as they host Briarcliff College at Clipper Baseball Field. The game
will begin at 3:30 PM.
