Clippers find two wins in Florida over Spring Break
The Lady Clippers Softball team spent their spring break in Clermont, Florida where they played eight games facing six different opponents. The Clippers started their week with facing St. Anselm’s College. In the first three innings the Clippers charged out as they hit two home runs (Angela D’Amico – solo; Alexa Rosella – 3 run) and added four other hits to take a 6-1 lead over St. Anselm’s. The Clippers went on to score three more and sealed their season opener with a 9-2 victory. Freshman Theresa Magnani made her collegiate debut on the mound as she pitched a complete game and nabbing her first win. [more]

Men’s Tennis takes two on Florida Spring Break Trip
The Clippers Men’s Tennis team headed down to Florida to face off against four top 20 teams during this past week. The Clippers came out fighting in each of their matches and came away with two wins. [more]

Lady Clippers voted CACC Sportsmanship Award
The Concordia College Lady Clippers Basketball Team earned the CACC 2009-2010 Team Sportsmanship Award. The team earned the award by vote of the Women's Basketball team coaches in the CACC. [more]

Eason breaks CACC Single Season Record
Will Eason, a center, broke the CACC Single Season Record for rebounding. With the 13 rebounds from the Clippers last game of the season, at USP, will accumulated 328 rebounds and the record. During the 27 games and with the average of 12.1 rebounds a game, Will was able to break the single season record for rebounding in the CACC. [more]

Eason earns 2nd Team All-CACC
William Eason, a Junior from Springfield, Massachusetts, earned a spot on the All-CACC 2nd Team. Eason playing in the center/forward position has led the Clippers in the post from the beginning. [more]

Clippers end season with win over Devils of USP
The Clippers were forced to travel to the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia after the Meyer Athletic Center was knocked out of heat and power. The Clippers saw the Devils of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia take an 8-2 lead to kick off the game. The Clippers then picked up the pace and turned the game into a back and forth battle. The Clippers eventually took a solid lead with 2:45 left in the half. The Clippers hit shot after shot to move ahead of the Devils and held a nine point lead at the end of the half, 40-31.

Clippers fall in final game of season to the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia
The Clippers had to travel down to the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia due to power and heat complications in the Meyer Athletic Center. The Clippers hit their first three shots to take a 5-0 lead to start the game off. With the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia Devils shifting their game they quickly caught up. The Clippers continued to play hard as they kept the Devils from getting to far ahead of them. With keeping the Devils a short distance away the Clippers found themselves at the end of the half down only nine, 31-40.

Double Header Basketball Postponed Until Sunday
The double header basketball game between the Concordia College Clippers and the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia Devils has been postponed due to the impending winter storm. The game, originally scheduled for February 6th was postponed due to a winter storm was rescheduled for tonight.

Clippers push game to overtime but miss to Felician
The Clippers headed down to New Jersey to face off against the Felician College Golden Falcons, an opponent they haven't seen since the beginning of December. The Clippers opened their game with a five point lead over the Golden Falcons. The Golden Falcons then came on strong and took the lead away. With the Golden Falcons with the lead, the Clippers worked hard to keep them close. As the Clippers tried to get the lead back the Golden Falcons stretched their lead out to 12 points at one point in the half. With a 3-pointer from Brandon Whitaker the Clippers moved closer and were only down 30-39 at the end of the first half.

Lady Clippers drop to Felician
The Lady Clippers faced off against the Felician College Golden Falcons. As the Golden Falcons started their game the Clippers struggled with their own. The Golden Falcons ran the score up and were leading by 17 just nine minutes into the game. The Clippers finally finding their game, slowly but surely started their move and were able to hold off the Golden Falcons. As the Clippers held the Golden Falcons to just 11 points in the last eleven minutes of the half, they found their way to score. The Clippers closed the 17 point gap down to just 2 points by the end of the first half, 26-28.
