Clippers finish out season with win over Georgian Court
The Clippers hosted the Georgian Court University Lions today to finish out their 2010 season. The Clippers made their presence known from the beginning as they dominated with an opening few points. The Lions struggled as the Clippers went on several service runs including ones by Hillary Hoffman and Alicia Vogel. The Clippers stayed ahead of the Lions throughout the first set and finished it off with a Juliann Gillespie kill.

The Clippers Golf team will head into the winter ranked 9th in the East Region in the final fall season NCAA Regional Poll done by Golfstat. The Clippers post an average score of 312.11 which is good for 9th in the region and 4th in the CACC behind Wilmington, Post and Goldey-Beacom.

Clippers get bitten by Cougars
The Clippers hosted the Caldwell College Cougars in a CACC match-up tonight. The Clippers started the first set well as they went back and forth for the first few points. The Cougars then took a 5-1 scoring run and took the lead. The Clippers tried to catch up and with a scoring run lead by the service run of Irina Impellitiere the Clippers tied the game up at 16-16. The Cougars then roared back at the Clippers and went on a 9-3 run to take the set.

The Clippers volleyball team finished their four game road trip as they faced off at Pace University. The Clippers struggled from the beginning as they found themselves down 9-7. The Pace University Pacesetters then went on a 14-2 run to control the set. The Clippers then started to climb back but Pace took the set 25-13 before the Clippers could make any more progress.

Clippers fall in final game of season
The Clippers hosted the Wilmington University Wildcats in their final game of the 2010 season. The Wildcats went straight to the offense and starting attacking from the beginning of the game. Though the Wildcats were attacking the Clippers held strong on defense and kept them from scoring. The Clippers were able to grab a few shots but were unsuccessful. At the end of the first 45 minutes the Clippers and the Wildcats were tied at zero.

The Clippers headed to Philadelphia to face off against the Chestnut Hill College Griffins. The Clippers went back and forth to open the match with the Griffins. With a couple of kills from Irina Impellitiere the Clippers broke free and took the early lead in the first set. The Griffins stayed close to the Clippers through the set but a kill from Chelsea Zurcher closed out the set for the Clippers 25-20.

With the Clippers going strong on the offensive they out shot the Warriors in the first half 11-6. Concordia College will be looking to repeat as Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Womens Tennis Tournament Champion when the 2010 tournament gets underway Tuesday, Oct. 19. The Clippers went 8-0 in conference play this season and will host Chestnut Hill College Tuesday at 2:00 pm. No. 2 Goldey-Beacom College and third seeded Holy Family University will meet in the other semi-final match. Concordia defeated Goldey-Beacom, 5-3, in last seasons championship.

With the team pushing up to strike the Clippers were primed to score. As the Lightning were trying to halt the Clippers progress, the Clippers out shot the Lightning 13-3 in the first half. Forty-five minutes later the score remained at zero for each team.

Andrey Boldarev and Daniele Piludu started their ITA Nationals tournament off with a bang. The #3 seeded pair in the tournament took on the pair from Rockhurst in their opening match.

Four members of the Clippers Tennis teams traveled down to Mobile, Alabama to compete in the 2010 ITA National Tournament. Ola Roberts and Yuliya Plevako are representing the Concordia Women's Tennis team as they compete in the doubles tournament. Roberts returns to the ITA National Doubles tournament for the second straight year. This is Plevako's first appearance. The Clippers duo qualified by winning the ITA East Regional, back in September.

Clippers fall in tight match with Bloomfield
The Clippers volleyball team headed to New Jersey to face off with the Bloomfield College Deacons for the second time this season. The Deacons took the early lead over the Clippers but the Clippers immediately turned it around and fought back to tie the game up at 10-10. The Clippers then took the lead as Olivia Thompson went back to serve. As the Deacons started to come back, the Clippers held on and were able to bring the score to 24-20. The Deacons then went on a quick six point run and stole the game out from underneath the Clippers.

The Clippers hosted the Dominican College Chargers to start the second half of the season. The Clippers and the Chargers went to battle to start the first set. As both teams went back and forth with each taking a one point lead at times it was the Chargers that broke free first and took the 16-13 lead. Clippers falter in second half to Lady Rams
The Clippers hosted the Philadelphia University Rams today in CACC action. As the start of the games kicked off the Clippers took the first shot of the game. For the next thirty minutes the Rams pushed up on offense. The Clippers held storng on defense as they kept the Rams from scoring. The next few minutes of the game the Clippers were able to get onto offense and take a couple of shots including shots on goal. At the end of the first half the score remained at zero.

The Clippers faced off against the current number one in the CACC, Caldwell College tonight. The Cougars of Caldwell took the early lead over the Clippers. The Clippers chipped their way back into the game with the help of a couple of service aces by Amanda Margedant and one by Irina Impellitiere. The Clippers then continued to climb back and took a small lead over the Cougars 14-12. As the Clippers stayed one point ahead, the Cougars tried to find ways around. Brittany Chappas helped push the Clippers to a 21-18 lead but the Cougars struck and overtook the game to grab set one 25-22.

Just one year ago the Concordia Volleyball team suffered its worst season ever. We couldnt finish the year due to injury and a lack of numbers. I guarantee that wont happen this season. And to speak to Coach Patrick Dietz, coming into his second year as head coach of the Clippers, you would think that the team assembling this year can and could quite possibly win the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Womans Volleyball Championship this fall. Clippers Golf Announces Home Course
Bronxville, NY The Concordia College Golf coach announces Century Country Club as their home course for Clippers Golf.
Century Country Club is located in Purchase, New York on 120 acres of pristine countryside. The 18-hole course features 6, 807 yards of golf from the longest set of tees and is a par 71.

Golf to join Clipper Athletics
Bronxville, NY The Concordia College Athletic department announces the addition of Golf to the Clipper teams. The Mens Golf team will be in full swing for the 2010 2011 season, with the Womens Golf team following shortly after.
The Golf program will be under the leadership of Scott Allen.
