Four Clippers Earn CACC Winter All-Academic Honors
The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference announced its All-Academic Team for the 2009-2010 Winter season. Four members of the Clippers were honored amongst the 34 total students that were honored throughout the fourteen conference schools.
In order to be named to the CACC Winter All-Academic team, recipients must have participated in a CACC Championship sport in the winter. They must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been a student-athlete at their current school for at least two semesters, and achieve a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher.
All four of the Winter All-Academic Team Members come from the
Women's Basketball team. Gianna Zonghetti, a senior from
Garrison, NY, who is studying Business. Jocelyn Martin, a
senior from Nesconet, NY, who is studying Biology. Dana
Rommel, a senior from Staten Island, NY, who is studying Sports
Management. And last but not least, Amanda Eggink, a junior
from Red Hook, NY, who is studying Elementary Education.
