Welcome to the Concordia College (NY) Clippers
Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)
Purpose
The purpose of this committee is to represent the student-athlete's voice on campus of Concordia College. In addition, it exists to promote good communication between the student-athletes, athletic department administration, coaches and other staff. Also, the SAAC has the responsibility to actively encourage student-athlete involvement in campus and community events. And lastly, the committee will serve as a forum for discussing issues and ideas in athletics.
Membership
The SAAC will consist of two representatives from each varsity team sponsored by Concordia College. Each representative will serve as a liaison between the SAAC and their team. Each person will serve the duration of his or her undergraduate studies and removal can be voluntary or by a committee vote.
Officers
The elected officers of the SAAC will President, Vice President and Secretary. They will serve their term for one year and then must be reelected.
Volunteer/Fundraising
The SAAC will be participating in various fundraising activities through the year. The money raised will go toward the Clipper Athletic Department and various charities. The SAAC members will also be participating in volunteer projects including the one that their respective team participates in and the SAAC ones.
